JOBO introduces CPP-3 processor at photokina 2012.

The family of analogue photographers enjoys a steady membership
around the globe and pro-labs are continuing to decline in numbers.

The new CPP-3 processor offers repeatable high quality film
processing, using the tried- and-tested technology of rotary processing:

Automatic agitation
Automatic temperature control
Freshness of chemical solutions (one shot processing)
Economical usage of solutions, for intermittent work
Processing time control

CPP-3 is an improved version of JOBO’s Colorprocessor CPP-2. It is
compatible with all JOBO film tanks and print drums and suitable for all kinds of silver halide films and prints. With the JOBO Lift mounted on the processor it makes for easy and clean handling of working solutions. These solutions can be conveniently held ready for use, in six individual one litre bottles, each positioned securely in the water jacket.

The built-in timer, for up to 10 different processes, provides the fine- art photographer a reliable variety of different processing methods for his b/w and colour work. The modern analogue photographer demands individual creativity and these are fully met by the functionality of the CPP-3.

The LC-Display indicates processing temperature with actual temperature of the water jacket. Its backlight can be switched off to suit processing conditions.

Highest working temperature is 40 degrees Centigrade. The built-in cold water solenoid cares for automatic cooling when room temperature gets over process temperature. Rotation speed can be set to a maximum of 80 turns per minute.

Fine-art and freelance photographers, as well as schools and colleges have been looking forward to the come-back of a small affordable processor, for creating truly unique pictures, which differentiate themselves from all digital work. For this, the CPP-3 is the answer!

National distributors around the world will supply the full range of JOBO’s modular tank and drum system that is compatible with the new processor as well as the responsibility for its after sales service.

The JOBO CPP-3 Processor and the modular tank and drum system will be fully demonstrated and available for inspection on the JOBO Stand in Hall 5.1 booth B-16 at the photokina exhibition in Cologne.

The MSRP for the CPP-3 Processor is 2490 EUR, and the MSRP for the optional Lift is 349 EUR including VAT.

Merci de cette nouvelle, finalement le choix est cornélien : se payer un D800 ou une CPP3 ?

L'argumentaire pour le développement et la mise sur le marché de ce produit est très intéressant et ira droit au coeur de tous nos lecteurs. Même ceux qui ne sont pas prêts à sortir 3000 euros de leurs économies pour se payer une CCP3 neuve.

un p'tit tour chez JOBO International GmbH à Gummersbach nous confirme une solide liste de distributeurs autour du globe (dont la France) et donne l'état du catalogue actuel, il n'y a plus de processeurs autres que le CPP3, mais les cuves série 1500 et 2500, plus un certain nombre d'accessoires & pièces détachées sont toujours là.

En regardant les images, j'ai la nette impression que c'est une CPP2 dont ils ont changé la "babasse" électronique. Le moteur aussi, peut-être, vu que l'aiguille du compte tours prend carément 5 tour/min (soyons fous).Je crains que l'existence d'un parc d'occasion sur les modèles précédents (notamment la CPP-2) freine bien de bonnes volontés.

Qu'ils continuent les cuves et spires 1500/2500 ça c'est la vraie bonne nouvelle.

Un prix de 2490 euros pour la CPP3 est un non-sens économique...

Du moins pour le marché européen.
