EIR COLOR INFRARED FILM - FOR SALE- TO BUY
120 Medium Format - FOR SALE TO BUY FOR SALE
August 23, 2009
General:
This is fresh Kodak Aerochrome Color Infrared bulk material which I cut down for 120 medium format cameras. Shipped in an air-tight, light resistant plastic container with a lead x-ray shield.
This film is to be handled in the same manner as the recently discontinued Kodak EIR Color Infrared film 35mm. One difference is that the 120 version can be loaded in very low lighting situations, but of course must still be developed in total darkness. A filter should be applied to exploit the color discrimination features of the film. I recommend a light yellow to medium orange filter, but there are a variety of other options.
400 ISO/ASA
Process E6
Cross-process C-41

This is fresh film stock, but has been altered. Kodak therefore requires that I sell as second-hand and so there is no Kodak warranty on this product.

More Info:
The film has been rated with a speed 400 ISO/ASA, however this is a nominal rating. There is no absolute rating for infrared film due to the nature of infrared light. Most of the examples on this site were shot using a medium orange filter in direct sunlight. I would be happy to give any further support or information about my experience with the film, how it's cut down and availability, exposure, etc..
