I have one, alas.
It is a reproduction objective, apparently intended for copying transparencies. If you visit the Rodenstock site http://www.linos.de/en/prod/apo-rodagon-d.html , you'll see that it has astonishingly flat MTF curves at all of the spatial frequences shown. Also that its recommended range of magnifications is 0.8x-1.2x. The chart doesn't show that MTF and illumination are zero outside an 80 mm circle. This is, I think, due to mechanical vignetting, i.e., Rodenstock chose to limit the lens' coverage.
One of my friends has one, says it gives superb image qualtiy on his D70 from 1:3 to 3:1.
