Emmanuel, it would be too expensive for me at 4 Euro/$. I don't have much money to spend on simply satisfying my curiosity. I'll soon have to pay SKGrimes for cleaning my 38/4.5 Biogon (oil inside the rear cell, alas) and putting my 1.75"/2.8 Elcan on a board. Being able to use those lenses is worth much more to me than having a pretty French doorstop.
The 100/1.4 Boyer brings to mind the 98/1.4 Wild (as in Wild Heerbrugg) Falconar. The Falconar was used on the Vinten F95 aerial camera. The F95 shoots 6x6 on 70 mm film.
Now, my ex-F95 4"/2.0 Taylor Hobson covers at least 100 mm, so I've hoped that the Falconar does too. Not that I could use a Falconar if I had one, it is too big and heavy for my little 2x3 Speed Graphic. Anyway, the Boyer is not for me. Too expensive, not obviously useful enough.
Regards,
Dan
