In its Boyer section A Lens Collector's Vade Mecum mentions a 150/265 f/4.8, “a modern lens of fine quality.” In its Schneider section, however, the Vade Mecum reports that R.G. Taylor (B.J.P. 03/03/1978, p191) shot a Saphir Color against a convertible Symmar and found the Symmar better at f/11 and wider. Also offered as 135/205 f/4.5, 210/350 f/5.6, and 300/? f/5.6. Claimed to be especially well corrected for color.
